Graphic Designer

Job Description

1. Study design briefs and determine requirements

2. Create and design various materials for packaging, print and digital collateral

3. Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with graphic tools

4. Ability to work with, create and edit videos would be a huge advantage

5. Work with the direction given by the Creative Director as well as brand guidelines

6. Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions

7. Conceptualize visuals based on requirements

8. Prepare rough drafts and present ideas

9. Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand

10. Perform retouching and manipulation of images

11. Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule

12. Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic

13. Work with copywriters and Creative Director to produce final design

14. Test graphics across various media

15. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on- brand Work with a wide range of media and software

16. Be responsible for developing various types of creative content for advertisements, brochures, or magazines.

17. Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.

18. Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.

19. Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.

20. Reviewing final layouts, suggesting improvements when necessary and Amend designs after feedback

21. Ensuring right implementation of Design ideas in the

appropriate medium

Other Requirements

1. The incumbent should be trustworthy with impeccable integrity, sound work ethics, and dynamic and with excellent people communication skills.

2. Should have good references

3. Shall be able to travel to work location (South Bengaluru) in thirty minutes

4. Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.

5. Proven graphic designing experience

6. A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics

7. Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)

8. A keen eye for aesthetics and details

9. A strong eye for visual composition

10. Excellent communication skills

11. Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

12. Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
