Creative Designer

We are seeking a skilled and creative Manual Jewellery Designer to develop high-quality jewellery designs through hand sketches and traditional design techniques for manufacturing. The ideal candidate will translate creative ideas into detailed manual designs suitable for sampling, prototyping, and mass production while maintaining design aesthetics, practicality, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed hand-drawn jewellery designs for rings, earrings, pendants, bangles, necklaces, and other jewellery pieces.
Translate concept ideas, client requirements, and market trends into clear manual sketches.
Prepare accurate design drawings with proper proportions, measurements, and stone placement details.
Ensure designs are practical for manufacturing, stone setting, and finishing processes.
Coordinate with CAD designers, production teams, and stone setters to ensure smooth execution of designs.
Make design modifications based on sampling feedback and production feasibility.
Support design development for new collections while maintaining brand identity and aesthetics.
Maintain proper records of design sketches, concepts, and revisions.
Meet design deadlines while ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
Stay updated with current jewellery trends, materials, and traditional design techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in Jewellery Design or related field.
2–5 years of experience as a Manual Jewellery Designer in jewellery manufacturing (experience range can be adjusted).
Strong hand-sketching skills with attention to detailing and proportions.
Good understanding of:

• Jewellery manufacturing processes

• Stone-setting techniques

• Metal usage and weight balance

Ability to visualize designs and convert ideas into clear, production-ready drawings.
Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills to work with CAD and production teams.
