We are looking for a detail-oriented operator to check designs in CorelDRAW and operate machines for acrylic and vinyl cutting for customised nameplates and other decorative products.
Responsibilities:
Check spelling, dimensions, fonts, alignment, and design elements against customer requirements and approved previews.
Prepare and correct cutting files in CorelDRAW, including outlines, curves, and duplicate lines.
Operate a laser cutting machine for acrylic and a vinyl cutting plotter for vinyl.
Select appropriate machine settings and perform test cuts when required.
Arrange designs efficiently to minimise material wastage.
Inspect finished cuts for accuracy, clean edges, and completeness.
Label and organise cut pieces by order and coordinate with the production team.
Perform routine machine cleaning, follow operating safety procedures, and report faults promptly.
Requirements:
Working knowledge of CorelDRAW and preparing files for cutting.
Hands-on experience with laser cutting machines and vinyl cutting plotters preferred.
Ability to understand measurements and follow order instructions accurately.
Strong attention to detail, responsibility, and time management.
Experience in nameplate, signage, or acrylic production is an advantage.
