Job Title: 3D Modeler (Children’s Animation)

Job Summary

We’re seeking a talented 3D Modeler to design and create high-quality 3D characters, props, and environments for our Telugu kids’ rhyme and story videos. The role involves bringing creative concepts to life with visually appealing and animation-ready assets that match our brand’s colorful, playful tone.

You’ll collaborate closely with the animation and rigging teams to ensure all models are optimized for production, easy to animate, and visually consistent across videos.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D character models, props, and environments based on storyboards and concept art.

• Develop stylized, kid-friendly characters with expressive facial features and proportions.

• Apply UV mapping, texturing, and shading to models for high-quality visual output.

• Work with the rigging and animation team to ensure all models are optimized and deform correctly.

• Maintain consistent style guidelines across all assets.

• Manage and organize 3D assets, ensuring proper naming conventions and version control.

• Support in creating low-poly or high-poly models depending on project requirements.

• Collaborate with lighting/rendering artists to enhance final visual quality.

Required Skills & Tools

• Proficiency in Blender or Autodesk Maya (core requirement).

• Strong knowledge of modeling, sculpting, topology, and UV unwrapping.

• Experience with texturing tools like Substance Painter, Photoshop, or Krita.

• Understanding of animation pipeline and rigging constraints.

• Ability to create stylized environments and cartoonish characters suitable for kids’ content.

Experience & Qualification

• 3–6 years of professional experience in 3D modeling or animation production.

• Portfolio demonstrating cartoon-style characters and environments.

• Background in Animation, Fine Arts, Design, or Multimedia preferred.

Bonus / Good-to-Have

• Experience in rigging or shading.

• Familiarity with rendering engines (Cycles, Arnold, V-Ray).

• Prior work on children’s animation, e-learning, or YouTube content.
