2D/3D Designer

We are seeking a skilled Designer with expertise in AutoCAD and SolidWorks to join our Engineering Department. This role involves close collaboration with the Production team to design electrical panels and project drawings, contributing to both new product development and continuous improvement of existing designs.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fabrication documentation for production

• Drive continuous design improvements across product lines

• Manage product revision control through ECNs (Engineering Change Notices)

• Lead new product design and development

• Create and update technical documentation content

• Maintain and organize the CAD library for parts and assemblies

🎯 Required Skills & Experience

• Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, including:

o Creating parts, assemblies, design tables, and detailed drawings

o Producing 2D drawings in AutoCAD

• 2+ years of experience in advanced CAD design and manufacturing preferred

• Strong mechanical background (experience in exhaust systems or heating appliances is a plus)

• Proven experience in sheet metal design

• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Effective communicator with sales, engineering teams, and external customers

• Familiarity with engineering processes, including ECRs, revisions, and change orders

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tool
