Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Develop 3D models and 2D engineering drawings of automotive components.

  2. Design and modify mechanical and automotive parts using CAD software.

  3. Prepare component drawings, assembly drawings and BOM.

  4. Understand customer requirements and design specifications.

  5. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

  6. Perform tolerance stack-up analysis.

  7. Select suitable materials based on application and requirements.

  8. Coordinate with manufacturing, quality and production departments.

  9. Support prototype development and product validation.

  10. Implement engineering changes (ECN/ECR).

  11. Ensure designs meet quality, safety and manufacturing requirements.

  12. Follow company design standards and automotive industry standards.
