Job Title: Travel Consultant

Location: Surat

Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Responsibilities:

• Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, and reviews.

• Understand clients’ requirements and suggest suitable travel packages or services.

• Organize travel from beginning to end, including booking tickets, accommodation, rental transportation, etc.

• Provide travelers with relevant travel materials such as guides, maps, and event programs.

• Manage deposits, balances, and other payment collections.

• Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.

• Handle unforeseen problems, complaints, and determine eligibility for refunds.

• Stay updated on tourism trends by attending industry conferences.

• Create and maintain electronic client records.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.

• Maintain financial records and documents related to bookings.

• Achieve set revenue and profit targets.

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Travel Consultant.

• Strong knowledge of travel software (computer reservation systems, GDS systems, and e-travel tools).

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

• Excellent sales and customer service skills with a client-focused approach.

• Well-versed in both domestic and international travel (business, holiday, group, and individual).

• Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.

• Ability to handle travel-related issues and crises effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business, or related field (preferred).

• Candidates with personal travel experience will be given preference.
