As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for finding potential clients, building relationships, and assessing their needs to present the best solutions.
Your primary focus will be on technical support and providing quality solutions to customers. You will also be expected to provide excellent customer service and work closely with departments such as Stores/Purchase, Project, Engineering & Maintenance in order to generate business for products and services.
To qualify for this role, you should have a strong background in Sales of Electrical Switchgears (LV/MV/HV), Substation Equipment and Automation systems, spares of MV & HV breakers, 11KV & 33KV Panels, RMU, CSS, 66KV & 132KV Outdoor Breakers, CT/PT/LA, Bus Trunking etc and shall have excellent communication skills and knowledge of the latest industry trends. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you must be detail-oriented, analytical, and have the ability to think strategically.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Understand and communicate technical specifications, capabilities, and limitations of products and services to clients.
Evaluate client needs and create customized solutions utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Develop and nurture relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Collaborate with OEM sales and marketing teams to identify potential new markets and communicate market trends and insights.
Demonstrate products and services to clients and provide technical support during the sales process.
Follow the sales process through Lead generation, offer preparation, maturing the lead to order, payment follow ups, cold calls, Participate in Tenders, e- bidding process etc.
Provide post-sales technical support and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
Stay up to date on industry developments, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive advantage.
Assist in the creation of technical documentation and training materials for internal teams and clients.
Represent the company at trade shows and other industry events.
Experience and Education Requirements
Shall have a bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Electrical, Electronics, computer science or engineering with sales experience of min. 2 years in the relevant field. Good communication and presentation skills with a plesent personality, right attitude, smart & energetic, willing to travel extensively are some of the important traits required for this position.
