Sales Representative

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven, and customer-focused Field Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Wipro Lighting products in a designated territory, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities in sectors like commercial, industrial, hospitality, and institutional projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits, networking, and cold calls.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders – architects, consultants, electrical contractors, builders, dealers, and distributors.

• Promote and sell Wipro’s lighting products and solutions to achieve sales targets.

• Conduct site visits, product presentations, and technical discussions to influence specification and selection of Wipro Lighting.

• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.

• Coordinate with internal teams (design, logistics, marketing, etc.) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.

• Submit regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and market intelligence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering, Business, or a related field).

• 2–5 years of field sales experience, preferably in lighting, electrical, or building material industry.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

• Knowledge of lighting products and technologies (LED, Smart Lighting, etc.) is a plus.
