Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new B2B clients in industries using coal or alternative fuel sources.
Visit client head offices and plant sites to engage purchase teams and management for sales discussions.
Generate leads, enquiries, and sales opportunities through fieldwork, networking, and market intelligence.
Execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly and periodic sales targets.
Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals with backend team support.
Conduct client presentations, negotiations, and support commercial and technical closures.
Coordinate with internal teams including customer service, operations, quality, safety, and credit for order execution.
Ensure accurate reporting of daily sales activities in CRM and other sales tracking systems post training.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key industrial clients and procurement stakeholders.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing movements to identify growth opportunities.
Ensure compliance with company sales SOPs, policies, and operational guidelines.
Travel extensively for client meetings, plant visits, and industry-related engagements.
Develop industry-specific networks across sectors such as cement, chemicals, textiles, sugar, paper, fertilisers, and distilleries.
