Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive who can effectively communicate with clients, generate leads, manage sales documentation, and handle online marketing activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of government portals and tender processes, along with experience in using platforms like IndiaMart and TradeIndia for lead generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Communication & Lead Generation
Engage with prospective and existing clients through calls, emails, and meetings.
Understand client requirements and present suitable products/services.
Generate new leads and follow up consistently to convert them into sales opportunities.
Maintain healthy business relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Government Portal & Tender Management
Regularly monitor relevant government portals for new tenders and opportunities.
Understand tender requirements, prepare necessary documentation, and assist in submission.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with technical and commercial criteria.
Maintain a tracker of tender submissions, deadlines, and outcomes.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and maintain sales proposals, quotations, agreements, and related documents.
Keep accurate records of client interactions, lead status, and sales progress.
Assist in preparing MIS reports, sales summaries, and performance updates.
Online Marketing & Portal Management
Manage and update company profiles on platforms like IndiaMart, TradeIndia, and other B2B portals.
Respond to online inquiries, generate leads, and maintain follow-ups through these portals.
Support digital marketing activities to enhance brand visibility and outreach.
Required Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in client handling.
Knowledge of government e-tendering portals and tender documentation.
Familiarity with B2B platforms such as IndiaMart & TradeIndia.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to take initiative.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Prior experience in sales or tendering will be an added advantage.
