Sales and business development

• Lead generation: Identify and approach potential new customers, including builders, contractors, real estate developers, and infrastructure companies.

• Customer engagement: Promote the company's RMC products and services to clients by leveraging your technical knowledge of concrete mixes and applications.

• Market analysis: Keep track of competitor activities and market trends and provide feedback to management on pricing and demand. 

• Technical and customer support

  • On-site assistance: Visit construction sites to offer technical assistance on the proper usage of RMC products. This includes advising on grades, water-cement ratios, and proper curing.

  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve any on-site issues or quality-related disputes concerning the concrete supply.

  • Client interpretation: Understand and interpret a client's specific project requirements to recommend the best and most cost-effective RMC solutions. Relationship management

    • Cultivate client relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

    • Conduct seminars: Organize workshops and seminars to educate civil engineering professionals on the company's products and new concrete technology. This helps to build brand value.

    • Gather feedback: Act as a communication link between the customer and the company's R&D team to provide feedback on product performance. Coordination and reporting

      • Internal coordination: Work closely with the production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of concrete.

      • Administrative tasks: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and customer feedback.

      • Payment collection: In some cases, assist the accounting department with the collection of payments from customers. Key qualifications and skills

        • Educational background: A Diploma in Civil Engineering is a prerequisite. A strong academic record is a plus.

        • Technical knowledge: A deep understanding of concrete technology, mix design principles, and relevant Indian Standards (IS codes) is essential.

        • Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to build rapport with clients and collaborate with internal teams.

        • Sales aptitude: A willingness to learn sales and marketing techniques and the ability to persuade clients are crucial for success.

        • Work ethic: Freshers should be proactive, with a willingness to gain practical, on-site experience.

        • Mobility: Many positions require a two-wheeler license and the willingness for dailyfield travel.
