Senior Marketing Executive – Field Sales (Beauty & Cosmetics)
Job Description: Sales Executive - Hair Care Products
(Field-based, focused on Western & Central Line)
Experience: 4-5 years total experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years in the FMCG or beauty/personal care industry.
About the Role:
We are a leading importer and distributor of premium shampoo and conditioner brands. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to expand our presence in the Mumbai market. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will be the face of our brand, establishing strong relationships with salons and retail shops along the Western and Central Lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion & Sales Generation:
Identify and personally visit potential new clients, including salons, beauty parlors, and retail stores, to introduce and sell our range of imported hair care products.
•Focus on penetrating new markets along the Western and Central Lines of Mumbai, with a focus on personally visiting each location.
•Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
•Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and new salon owners, managers, and shopkeepers.
•Regularly visit clients to understand their needs, provide product knowledge, and ensure customer satisfaction.
•Handle client inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
Product Expertise & Demonstration:
•Develop a deep understanding of our product line, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
•Conduct compelling product demonstrations and training sessions for salon professionals and staff.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
•Conduct market research by personally visiting locations to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on market trends.
•Monitor competitor activities, including their product offerings, pricing, and promotional strategies.
•Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, including client visits, sales figures, and market insights, to management on a regular basis.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
•Proven experience as a Sales Executive or a similar role, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
•Direct, hands-on experience in the FMCG, beauty, or personal care industry is a must.
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently, manage a sales territory effectively, and be self-motivated.
•A strong understanding of the local Mumbai market, particularly the Western and Central Lines.
•Candidates must be comfortable with extensive travel and field visits within the assigned territory.
•Proficiency in local languages (Marathi and Hindi) is highly desirable.
