Key Responsibilities of Solar Sales Executive (Job Description):
Lead Generation and Sales: Finding potential customers (Residential/Commercial), acquiring new customers through cold calling, email marketing and networking.
Site Assessment: Assessing customers' energy needs, analyzing electricity bills, and determining if the rooftop is suitable for solar panels.
Proposal Preparation: Prepare proposal, quotation and contract for customized solar system as per customer needs and budget.
Providing technical information: Educating customers about the benefits of solar energy (reduced electricity bills, carbon footprint), warranties, government subsidies, and financing options.
Closing the Deal: Finalizing the sale by answering customer questions and addressing their concerns.
Relationship Management: Maintaining relationships with existing customers, ensuring after-sales service, and obtaining new referrals.
Reporting: Submitting regular reports to management on sales activities, customer feedback and market conditions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
Understanding of solar products and technical aspects.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
