Smartex and Building Material Reporter are expanding their national presence through brand partnerships, sponsorships, B2B collaborations and industry events.
We are seeking a senior professional who will primarily drive B2B sales and sponsorship partnerships, while also supporting company-led events and representing the brand at industry platforms.
This role blends revenue generation, brand partnerships, and event execution support, ensuring year-round business growth beyond event cycles.
Drive sponsorship and partnership sales for events, media properties, and brand collaborations
Build and manage long-term relationships with building-material brands, manufacturers and industry partners
Identify new revenue opportunities and strategic collaborations
Pitch partnership proposals and close sponsorship deals
Expand brand partnerships nationally across cities and industry segments
Maintain regular engagement with architects, developers, consultants and trade networks
Support planning and execution of company-led industry events and activations
Coordinate with event vendors, partners and internal teams
Ensure sponsor commitments and partner deliverables are fulfilled
Assist in scaling event formats across cities
Represent the company at launches, events and conferences
Anchor or co-host events
Moderate discussions with industry leaders and brand partners when needed
6–10+ years experience in B2B sales, partnerships or sponsorship sales
Experience in building materials, construction, architecture, or related industries preferred
Proven track record in sponsorship and partnership acquisition
Strong negotiation and client relationship skills
Ability to manage event coordination when required
Good public speaking and stage presence
Leadership & coordination skills
