Job Summary
The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for primary and secondary sales, distributor coordination, and retail market expansion for FMCG food products. The role involves extensive fieldwork, retailer visits, order collection, payment follow-ups, and execution of company sales strategies to achieve assigned targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Market Development
Appoint and manage retailers within the assigned territory
Generate primary and secondary sales through distributors
Promote FMCG food products to kirana stores, supermarkets, and HORECA clients
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Distributor & Retailer Management
Coordinate with distributors for stock availability and order execution
Ensure timely product delivery and proper market coverage
Resolve distributor and retailer issues promptly
Order Collection & Payments
Collect orders from retailers and share with distributors
Follow up on outstanding payments as per company credit policy
Maintain accurate sales and collection records
Merchandising & Visibility
Ensure proper product display and shelf visibility
Execute promotional schemes and trade offers
Monitor competitor activities and pricing
Reporting & Documentation
Submit daily sales reports and market feedback
Maintain customer database and visit reports
Share insights on market trends and demand
Candidate Profile / Eligibility
Education
Minimum: 10+2 / Diploma
Preferred: Graduate (any stream)
Experience
14 years of experience in FMCG field sales, preferably food products
Freshers with strong field exposure may also be considered
