Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, generating leads through cold calling, networking, and site visits.
Develop and manage the dealer/distributor network and other channel partners.
Conduct product presentations and provide technical assistance to potential clients.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Marketing and Strategy:
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and pricing trends.
Plan and execute marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
Develop product positioning and marketing strategies based on market insights.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers such as builders, architects, interior designers, and contractors.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent service and timely after-sales support.
Manage client accounts and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Reporting and Administration:
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance data using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Monitor receivables and ensure the timely collection of payments from clients.
Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, production, finance) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and delivery.
Skills and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, civil engineering, or a related field is often preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in sales or marketing, specifically within the building materials, construction chemicals, or a related industry.
Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of the building materials industry and market dynamics.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with CRM tools and basic computer operating skills.
Willingness to travel extensively to client locations and industry events.
