Role Summary: The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding dealer networks, managing farmer engagement activities, and ensuring effective subsidy process execution within the assigned territory of Odisha. The candidate must be fluent in Odia language and possess strong knowledge of state and central subsidy schemes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Business Development Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and farmer meetings. Identify new markets and business opportunities. 2. Dealer Network Management Appoint new dealers and support existing ones. Conduct dealer training and performance reviews. Monitor dealer inventory and sales performance. 3. Subsidy & Government Liaison Handle Odisha-specific agriculture subsidy schemes. Guide dealers/farmers in completing subsidy documentation. Coordinate with Agriculture Department officials for scheme updates and claims. 4. Marketing & Promotion Execute demos, farmer meetings, tractor melas, and events. Support exhibitions and branding activities. 5. Reporting & Coordination Prepare sales reports, market trends, and competitor analysis. Coordinate with service teams for customer support. Required Skills & Qualifications: Graduate in Agriculture/Science/Engineering/Management. 2–5 years experience in agricultural machinery sales. Fluency in Odia language – Mandatory. Strong knowledge of Odisha subsidy schemes – Mandatory. Effective communication & negotiation skills. Willingness to travel extensively. Personal Attributes: Result-oriented and self-driven. Strong relationship-building skills. Problem-solving ability and field intelligence. Salary Range: ₹5 LPA – ₹7.5 LPA (Plus Incentives, Travel Allowances & Other Benefits)
