Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets, developing business opportunities, managing customer relationships, leading the sales team, and ensuring effective implementation of the company's sales strategies. The role requires strong leadership, market knowledge, and a customer-focused approach to drive sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share.
Identify and appoint new distributors, dealers, and retailers in assigned territories.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of sales executives and field staff.
Conduct regular market visits to identify business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers.
Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams for smooth business operations.
Monitor inventory availability and ensure product availability in the market.
Train and mentor the sales team on product knowledge, selling techniques, and company policies.
Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate CRM records and submit timely sales and expense reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies, reporting standards, and ethical business practices.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
MBA (Sales/Marketing) is preferred.
Experience
5–8 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Experience in the pharmaceutical, FMCG, or healthcare industry is preferred.
