Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales Manager who will lead new tractor sales at the showroom and manage a small field sales team (3–4 executives) responsible for lead generation. The role requires strong local market understanding, team handling skills, and the ability to convert walk-in and field-generated leads into sales.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new tractor sales from the showroom
Handle walk-in customers and convert inquiries into bookings
Lead and manage a team of 3–4 field executives for rural lead generation
Monitor daily field visits, lead quality, and follow-ups
Ensure timely customer follow-up and deal closure
Maintain relationships with farmers, local influencers, and finance partners
Support customers with product information, pricing, and financing options
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Maintain showroom discipline, stock visibility, and display standards
Submit daily and weekly sales and pipeline reports
Required Skills
Strong sales and negotiation skills
Experience in tractor / automobile / agri-equipment sales preferred
Ability to handle and motivate a field sales team
Good knowledge of local rural market and farmer network
Basic understanding of tractor finance / loan process
Comfortable with field visits when required
