Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development and sales efforts in manufacturing industry. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, developing client relationships, and achieving sales targets for elevators, escalators, and related vertical transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed targets for lift and escalator products and services.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, real estate developers, and facility managers.

• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver customized solutions that meet client requirements.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product positioning and pricing strategies.

• Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management.

• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with the team and understanding their needs.

• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.

• Achieve assigned service sales targets by developing strong customer relationships and up selling service solutions.

• Handle customer issues, service requirements, and technical/commercial queries to ensure prompt and effective resolution.

• Provide technical solutions, maintenance recommendations, and clarifications to customers, ensuring high satisfaction levels

• Monitor sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

• Monitor sales progress and sales results by counseling and disciplining sales team; planning, monitoring, and appraising their performance.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies throughout the sales process.

• Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

Any bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

Minimum 2 years to 5 years of sales experience in the elevator, escalator, or construction industry.

Strong understanding of industry standards, and customer requirements.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously.

Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Willingness to travel as needed.
