Sales Executive – Industrial Background
Job Title: Sales Executive / Sales Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a result-oriented Sales Executive with experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing customers, generating sales leads, and achieving sales targets for industrial products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new customers in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
Generate leads through market visits, cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
Manage existing customer relationships and ensure repeat business.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable industrial products/solutions.
Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.
Conduct regular customer visits and product presentations.
Coordinate with technical, production, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Follow up on enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and payments.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing.
Maintain accurate sales reports, customer records, and sales forecasts.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
2–5 years of sales experience in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, machinery, automation, electrical, or B2B environment.
Strong knowledge of industrial products and B2B sales processes.
Good communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
Ability to understand technical products and explain them to customers.
Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development.
Target-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM/sales reporting tools.

Monthly and annual sales achievement.
New customer acquisition.
Lead-to-order conversion rate.
Customer retention and repeat business.
Sales pipeline development.
Collection/payment follow-up.
Gross margin and profitability.
Preferred Industrial Exposure
Candidates with experience in industrial machinery, machine tools, automation, electrical equipment, fabrication, pumps, motors, compressors, bearings, engineering products, or other B2B industrial products will be preferred.
