A Field Sales Executive is responsible for visiting local markets and onboarding merchants to use digital payment and commerce products such as QR codes, Soundbox, and EDC/card swipe machines. The role focuses on merchant acquisition, product installation, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Visit assigned markets and identify potential retailers, shop owners, and businesses.
Onboard new merchants on platform.
Promote and sell merchant products such as:
QR Code
Soundbox
POS / EDC card swipe machines
Explain benefits of digital payments to merchants.
Assist merchants with registration, documentation, and product installation.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Maintain relationships with existing merchants and encourage regular usage.
Provide basic training to merchants on using Paytm payment systems.
Report daily sales activities to the team leader or sales manager.
