Job Description

Location•: Flexible / Remote (Metro city-based)

Type: Full-Time

Role: GIS Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for SpatioSynth and GIS services in the Indian government sector.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in central/state government departments, PSUs, Smart City Missions, GeM portal, and disaster management authorities.

  • Lead the bidding process for government tenders, RFPs, and empanelments.

  • Drive sales and partnerships for SpatioSynth as a transformative solution for remote sensing, change detection, and geospatial analytics

  • Represent GISKernel in government tech forums, conferences, and exhibitions.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to shape client proposals, demos, and PoCs tailored to government use cases

  • Monitor industry trends, policy changes, and funding schemes relevant to geospatial and AI adoption in governance.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in business development or sales within the GIS, Remote Sensing, or IT sector, preferably with experience selling to government clients.

  • Strong network and prior experience engaging with GeM, NIC, NRSC, ISRO, MoHUA, NDMA, or similar bodies.

  • Understanding of GIS, remote sensing, or AI-based geospatial solutions is highly preferred.

  • Ability to understand technical offerings like SpatioSynth, satellite image analysis, AI-based change detection, and webGIS solutions.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and proposal writing skills.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years in business development or consulting roles in GIS/IT with a government focus

Familiarity with GeM portal processes, e-procurement, and tendering lifecycle

Degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related disciplines (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
