Job Summary
The Diesel Generator Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling diesel generator sets (DG sets) to industrial, commercial, residential, construction, and institutional clients. The role includes lead generation, site visits, technical discussions, quotation preparation, negotiation, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Generate leads through field visits, references, contractors, builders, industries, and consultants.
Promote DG sets for industrial, commercial, telecom, hospitals, hotels, residential, and construction applications.
Understand customer power requirements and recommend suitable generator capacity.
Conduct site inspections and coordinate technical feasibility checks.
Prepare quotations, techno-commercial proposals, and tender documents.
Explain product specifications, fuel efficiency, warranty, and AMC/service benefits.
Coordinate with OEMs, service teams, and installation departments.
Negotiate pricing and close sales deals.
Maintain customer relationships for repeat business and AMC opportunities.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Track market competition, pricing, and customer feedback.
Maintain CRM reports, sales pipeline, and collection follow-ups
