Megamet is a Mumbai-based company operating in the timber industry, involved in the import, distribution, and supply of sawn timber products. The company focuses on providing quality timber products and reliable service to B2B customers.

Role Purpose
We are looking for a Field Sales Executive who has experience in sales, marketing, customer handling, and logistics coordination. The candidate will be responsible for developing new customers, managing existing clients, conducting field visits, generating sales, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth order and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities in the Bangalore market.

• Conduct regular field visits to meet customers, dealers, contractors, builders, and other business clients.

• Generate leads and convert them into sales.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and understand their requirements.

• Promote and explain Megamet's timber products to customers.

• Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and follow up for order closure.

• Coordinate with the Logistics, Warehouse, Accounts, and Sales teams for timely order processing and delivery.

• Track order status, dispatch, transportation, and Timely delivery schedules.

• Resolve customer queries related to orders and deliveries.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

• Maintain daily/weekly sales reports and update customer information.

• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

• 2–4 years of experience in field sales, marketing, or business development.

• Experience in logistics coordination will be an advantage.

• Good knowledge of the Bangalore local market.

• Strong communication and customer-handling skills.

• Fluent in English and at least one local language (Kannada preferred).

• Willingness to travel for customer and field visits.

• Good negotiation, follow-up, and relationship-management skills.

• It is a Full Time Field Sales job for candidates with 0 - 2 years of experience.
