Position: Market Research & Procurement Analyst (Remote)

We're expanding our market reach and exploring new industrial verticals to serve diverse sectors beyond our traditional focus.

••Role Overview••

We're looking for a mid-career Market Research & Procurement Analyst to help us map spare parts demand across multiple industrial sectors and identify untapped business opportunities. This is a strategic research role that will shape BUI's expansion into new markets and verticals.

••Key Responsibilities••

- Research and map which spare parts from BUI's inventory are applicable across different industrial sectors (cement mills, guar mills, rice mills, steel plants, and related heavy industries)
- Use AI tools and online resources to conduct competitive pricing analysis and supplier intelligence across categories
- Build comprehensive databases organizing spare parts by industry application and usage patterns
- Identify new market opportunities and industry verticals where BUI can expand
- Prepare detailed market reports and competitive analysis for strategy discussions
- Collaborate with management on sourcing strategies and vendor evaluation
- Maintain confidentiality regarding pricing, supplier information, and strategic research

••Ideal Candidate••

- Mid-career professional with strong research and analytical skills
- Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) for market intelligence and data organization
- Detail-oriented with ability to learn new industrial sectors quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with independent research and self-directed learning
- Ability to organize complex information across multiple categories and industries
- Prior experience in procurement, supply chain, or industrial sectors is a plus but not required

••Work Arrangement••

- Fully remote with flexible hours
- Twice weekly in-person sync (approximately 3-4 hours) at our Delhi residence for coordination and knowledge transfer
- Direct reporting to our coordination manager
- Flexible schedule to accommodate personal commitments

••Compensation & Benefits••

- Salary: ₹3 - 4 Lakh per annum (based on experience and demonstrated capability)
