Role Summary
The Relationship Officer will be the primary point of contact for clients. The role focuses on understanding
client requirements, recommending suitable insurance solutions, and building long-term professional
relationships. This position goes beyond sales, emphasizing advisory, servicing, and continuous client
support.
Client Relationship Management
• Build strong and trust-based relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Conduct regular discussions to understand client needs and risk profiles.
• Recommend appropriate insurance solutions across Life, Health, Motor, Property, Liability, Fire, Marine,
Group Term, Group Health, and Group Personal Accident policies.
• Manage end-to-end servicing including policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals.
• Ensure timely assistance and clear communication.
Business Development & Sales
• Achieve assigned business and revenue targets through new business and renewals.
• Acquire new clients through referrals, networking, and structured outreach.
• Increase wallet share through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals professionally.

• Maintain accurate client and policy records in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with underwriting, claims, and operations teams for smooth service delivery.
• Liaise with insurers to resolve client issues efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and company compliance policies.
Qualifications & Skills
• Post Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in insurance, banking, or financial services preferred.
• IRDAI BQP certification/license is an added advantage.
• Strong product knowledge and communication skills.
• Customer-centric mindset with confidence in sales and relationship management.
