About the Role
Techno Music India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead and expand business operations across East India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving regional sales growth, developing and managing channel partners, leading a high-performing sales team, and strengthening the company's market presence across Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Build, expand, and manage a strong dealer and distributor network across the assigned region.
Lead, mentor, and monitor Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and the regional sales team to achieve business objectives.
Identify new business opportunities and increase market penetration across key cities and emerging markets.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key dealers, distributors, institutional clients, and strategic partners.
Conduct regular market visits to review sales performance, dealer productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Monitor regional sales performance, inventory movement, and channel health to ensure business growth.
Drive branding, merchandising, promotional campaigns, and retail visibility initiatives across the region.
Ensure effective implementation of sales policies, pricing strategies, and company programs.
Coordinate with internal teams including Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Support to ensure seamless business operations.
Analyze competitor activities, pricing, market trends, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare monthly sales forecasts, business reviews, MIS reports, and regional performance reports.
Ensure timely collections, credit control, and healthy dealer accounts.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop the regional sales team to enhance productivity and performance.
Qualifications
MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management (Mandatory).
8–12 years of experience in Channel Sales, Dealer Management, Regional Sales, or Business Development.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Regional Sales Manager or Team Handling role.
Experience in Consumer Electronics, Musical Instruments, Audio Products, Lifestyle Products, or similar industries will be preferred.
Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, analytical, and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
Mandatory Requirements
Must own a personal laptop for reporting, communication, and business operations.
Smartphone with internet connectivity.
Willingness to travel extensively across Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal.
Valid driving licence. Four-wheeler driving experience will be an added advantage.
Fluency in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Bengali or Odia will be an added advantage.
