Job Summary:
The SPM Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for special purpose machines installed at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical/electrical engineering, experience with SPMs, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or on-site visits.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on SPMs, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues.
• Installation and Commissioning: Assist with the installation and commissioning of new SPMs at customer sites.
• Training and Documentation: Provide training to customers on the operation and maintenance of SPMs, and maintain accurate records of service activities.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with SPMs, using problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure that service issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve service processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
• Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Skills: Strong technical knowledge of SPMs, including mechanical, electrical, and software aspects. Proficient in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance techniques.
• Personal Qualities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
