Job Summary
An entry-level Technical Sales Engineer in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) supports the sales team by combining technical knowledge with customer-facing skills. The role involves understanding client requirements, proposing suitable HVAC solutions, and assisting in closing sales.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in promoting and selling HVAC systems (chillers, VRF, split units, AHUs, ventilation systems)
Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate HVAC solutions
Prepare technical and commercial proposals
Support senior sales engineers in client meetings and presentations
Perform basic load calculations and system selection
Coordinate with design and project teams for execution
Follow up on leads, quotations, and payments
Maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, and clients
Keep track of market trends and competitor activities
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and components
Understanding of heat load calculations (preferred but not mandatory)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Willingness to travel for client meetings/site visits
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
0–2 years of experience in HVAC sales, service, or design (freshers can apply)
