Job Description: Medical Representative (MR)

Overview and Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Representative (MR) to promote our pharmaceutical/healthcare products to doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare institutions within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and a proven track record in sales.

• Product Promotion: Effectively communicate detailed product information, features, and benefits to healthcare professionals, utilizing sales aids and product samples.

• Sales Target Achievement: Achieve and exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets within the designated territory.

• Market Analysis: Monitor and report on competitor activities and market trends to aid in developing effective sales strategies.

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with doctors, chemists, and stockists.

• Territory Planning: Plan and execute daily and weekly travel schedules to ensure maximum coverage of potential and existing customers.

• Reporting: Submit timely and accurate daily call reports, expense reports, and other required administrative paperwork.

• Sample Management: Manage and maintain product samples and promotional materials responsibly.

• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new products, industry knowledge, and company policies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Diploma or Graduation (in any stream) from a recognized institution.

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of proven experience as a Medical Representative or in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales.

• Must-Have: Possession of a valid Driving License (DL) and ownership of a Bike for daily fieldwork and travel within the territory.

• Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.

  • Goal-oriented with a proven ability to work independently.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 per month (depending on experience and interview performance).

• Additional Benefits: Attractive incentives, travel allowances, and statutory benefits as per company policy.

• It is a Full Time Field Sales job for candidates with 6 months - 6+ years Experience.
