• Loan Officer / Sales Executive

  • Goal: Identifying and acquiring new borrowers for products like home, personal, or business loans.

  • Duties: Meeting prospects, explaining loan products, conducting "Personal Discussions" (PD) to understand business models, and achieving monthly disbursement targets.

• Loan Processor / Operations Specialist

  • Goal: Managing the administrative lifecycle of a loan from application to final disbursement.

  • Duties: Meticulous verification of documents (PAN, ITR, bank statements), checking debt-to-income ratios, and coordinating with underwriters to ensure compliance.

• Loan Sanction / Telecaller Executive

  • Goal: Guiding customers through the initial inquiry and documentation stages.

  • Duties: Addressing inquiries via phone, explaining interest rates, following up on pending documents, and maintaining daily call logs. 

2. General Eligibility Criteria (2025)

Eligibility varies by seniority, but standard requirements for entry-level to mid-level roles include: 

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in any stream is typically the minimum requirement. Commerce or Finance degrees are preferred for processing roles.

• Age: Many entry-level "Relationship Executive" roles require candidates to be under 29–30 years old.

• Experience:

  • Entry-level: 0–2 years; freshers with strong communication are often hired for sales or telecalling.

  • Mid-level: 2–5 years in banking or financial services (NBFCs).

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for data management) and familiarity with CRM systems (like Salesforce or Zoho).

• Field Requirements: For sales roles, owning a two-wheeler and a willingness to travel locally is often mandatory. 

3. Key Skills for Success

• Financial Acumen: Understanding interest rates, amortization, and creditworthiness (CIBIL scores).

• Communication: The ability to explain complex legal and financial terms in simple language to diverse clients.

• Attention to Detail: Precision in checking documents to prevent fraud or compliance errors.

• Negotiation & Persuasion: Essential for converting leads into active loan files.
