
These roles are sales-focused positions in Jana Small Finance Bank’s housing loan and mortgage (LAP) vertical, where you source and service home loan and mortgage customers while understanding legal and technical aspects of the property and loan process.
Roles and key responsibilities
For Relationship Manager / Officer / Executive in Home Loans and Mortgage:
Generate business in home loans, home improvement loans and LAP (loan against property), mainly through field sales, branch leads, and local market contacts.
Meet customers, understand their requirement, explain product features (interest rate, tenure, eligibility), and assist with application, documentation, and coordination till disbursement.
Maintain relationship with existing customers and mapped branches/partners, handle post-disbursement servicing and basic collections or service issues.
Required skills and experience
Typical requirements for these positions:
Minimum 6–12 months (often 1+ year) experience in housing loans, LAP or other retail loan sales with a bank/NBFC; field sales comfort is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of home loan products, eligibility norms, basic legal and technical checks (sale deed, EC, approvals, valuation, legal report) so that you can identify issues and coordinate with credit/legal/technical teams.
Graduation (any stream) is usually compulsory, local language fluency plus basic English, and willingness to travel in the assigned geography.
