Job Description: Key Account Manager – IT Sales
Overview
We have an urgent opening for Key Account Managers to engage with Small & Medium Businesses across Bengaluru, helping them set up end-to-end IT infrastructure and supporting their journey with Systech. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong sales skills, and relationship-building abilities.
Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and presentation abilities, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. The role involves both office and field work, requiring the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research: Identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
Lead Generation: Generate leads via cold calling, networking, social media, and industry events.
Client Relationship: Understand client needs and tailor IT solutions accordingly.
Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations showcasing value propositions.
Proposal Development: Create customized proposals and quotations aligned with client requirements.
Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate terms, close deals, and achieve sales targets.
Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized pipeline and provide regular performance reports.
Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and support teams for smooth delivery.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge.
Sales Enquiries: Drive competitive selling, organize demonstrations/benchmarks, and lead negotiations.
Sales Planning: Ensure accurate forecasting and planning aligned with company goals.
Revenue Targets: Achieve both team and individual revenue targets.
Brand Strategy: Build a strong image for the company’s services through effective strategies.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor BD Managers and Executives.
Reporting: Submit accurate reports on expenses, activities, results, and monthly forecasts.
Receivables: Ensure timely collections and closure of commercial activities.
Customer Satisfaction: Work with customer support teams to resolve client issues and follow up for satisfaction.
Additional Assignments: Handle any other responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT sales/industry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Goal-oriented with proven ability to meet/exceed targets.
Ability to lead and inspire teams.
Two-wheeler is mandatory for client visits and field work.
