1. JOB PURPOSE
· To manage day-to-day construction activities on site.
2. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

1 Discuss daily execution plans of assigned construction project of the company with the project manager (PM)and site engineer (SE).
2 Explain the execution steps to the agencies involved in the construction project. Ensure that they have proper understanding of the tasks to be completed.
3 Supervise the work being done by the construction agencies. If they are making any mistakes or are deviating from the agreed tasks, bring them back on track.
4 Identify any issues related to workmanship, quality, wastage, slow progress of work with respect to the agencies. Report the issues to SE/PM.
5 Suggest solutions to fix those problems and agree the implementation steps with PM/SE. Implement the solutions and monitor progress.
6 Report the progress to PM/SE on daily basis. Identify potential issues with execution steps, timelines, resources etc to PM/SE and recommend corrective actions.
7 Coordinate with stores assistant for material needs of the site. Identify potential issues with material availability and help the stores assistant in taking corrective actions.
8 Suggest areas of improvement in execution plan to the PM/SE.

Internal
· Regular interaction with projects team, sales team, purchase team, QC team, engineers and design teams, maintenance teams regarding day-to-day activities and status reporting.
· Frequent interaction with Project Manager and Site Engineer regarding daily execution planning and reporting.
External
· Frequent interaction with construction agencies, MEP agencies etc.
· May require to meet clients, consultants, architects, interior designers etc.
· May require to meet representatives from government agencies.

· The job incumbent is expected to work on site.
· The job incumbent is required to manage tight deadlines to perform project execution activities.
· The jobholder will be expected to constantly monitor the work done by agencies on site.
· The jobholder may need to visit other sites to engage in project status, quality inspections, inventory reviews etc.
· Jobholder should be able to communicate effectively with tact and remain calm under high pressure to meet the objectives of the company.

7. QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE

Qualification & Education:
· 12th pass/Diploma/Degree of any nature.
· Diploma/Degree Civil Engineering or equivalent is a plus.
· Specialization/certification in construction management is a plus.
Experience:
· 2+ years of experience of supervising on construction projects.
Training & Knowledge:
· Any knowledge or training of construction practices, quality control etc is preferable.
