Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager – IT Sales to lead business development efforts in assigned regions. This is a field-based role ideal for professionals who excel in client engagement, enterprise sales, and closing high-value deals.
You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering customized IT solutions aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Identify and generate new business opportunities within the assigned territory
Conduct face-to-face meetings, product demos, and client presentations
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking meets
Maintain a strong pipeline through continuous prospecting and field activities
2. Consultative Selling
Understand client requirements through detailed discovery discussions
Recommend tailored IT solutions including cloud, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and infrastructure services
Collaborate with presales and technical teams for proposals, POCs, and solution design
3. Deal Closure & Account Management
Own the complete sales cycle: lead generation to closure
Negotiate contracts and close high-value enterprise deals
Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders (CIOs, IT Heads, Procurement teams)
Drive account growth through upselling and renewals
4. Reporting & Market Insights
Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM
Provide regular updates on pipeline, forecasts, and performance
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BSc / BCA or equivalent)
2–10 years of experience in IT Sales / Enterprise Sales
Strong understanding of IT solutions (Cloud, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Managed Services, Infrastructure)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Willingness to travel within assigned territory
