Sales & Purchase Manager – Rice & Maize
Job Summary:
Responsible for procurement and sales of rice and maize, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, achieving sales targets, managing supplier and customer relationships, and maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure rice and maize from farmers, mills, and suppliers.
Negotiate purchase and sales contracts, pricing, and payment terms.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, traders, distributors, and customers.
Achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activities.
Manage inventory levels and coordinate logistics for timely deliveries.
Ensure product quality, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare sales, procurement, and performance reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
2-6+ years of experience in rice, maize, grain trading, or agri-commodity procurement and sales.
