Field Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Explain the technical features, benefits, and applications of TMT steel products to customers and influencers.

• Conduct technical meetings, product demonstrations, and awareness programs for engineers, architects, contractors, builders, dealers, and masons.

• Visit construction sites to provide technical support and product recommendations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key influencers in the construction industry.

• Assist the sales team in addressing technical queries and customer concerns.

• Promote the company's products by highlighting their quality, strength, durability, and compliance with industry standards.

• Coordinate technical seminars, workshops, and training programs.

• Collect market feedback regarding competitor products and customer requirements.

• Prepare technical reports, visit reports, and maintain records of customer interactions.

• Stay updated on construction practices, IS standards, and new developments in the steel industry.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

• Freshers are welcome to apply.

• Internship or project experience in construction is an added advantage.

Required Skills

• Good technical knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and effective manner.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

• Willingness to travel extensively for customer and site visits.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Self-motivated, confident, and eager to learn.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of TMT steel, RCC construction, reinforcement detailing, and building materials.

• Basic understanding of IS codes related to reinforcement steel.

• Ability to conduct technical presentations and training sessions.
