Job Summary
The IEC Activity Coordinator will lead and implement IEC (Information, Education & Communication) activities under Swachh Bharat Mission, Waste Management, and Behaviour Change programs. The role includes community engagement, awareness sessions, documentation, and coordination with local stakeholders.
Eligibility
Female candidates only
Graduation / MSW (Master of Social Work) OR degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Environmental Science, Humanities
3–5 years of experience in:
IEC Activities
SWM (Solid Waste Management)
SBM (Swachh Bharat Mission)
Community Mobilization
NGO field projects
Gujarati/Hindi speaking (mandatory); basic English preferred
Willingness for field visits, rallies, awareness drives & community meetings
Must be willing to relocate to Vrindavan (Stay + Food Provided)
Key Skills Required
Strong communication & public speaking skills
Knowledge of IEC/BCC awareness models
Experience in community engagement & behaviour change
Basic computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Report Writing
Ability to plan & execute field activities professionally
Strong interpersonal skills: empathy, patience, leadership & problem-solving
Ability to work with schools, SHGs, women groups & local communities
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct IEC Activities under SBM, SWM & Waste Segregation Awareness
Organize:
✓ School campaigns
✓ Cleanliness rallies
✓ Door-to-door awareness drives
✓ Plastic-free awareness sessions
Deliver behaviour change communication (BCC) sessions
Coordinate with schools, SHGs, village leaders & volunteers
Maintain reports, photos, videos & documentation as per IEC norms
Support in tender-based documentation, data collection & monitoring
Manage event materials, attendance sheets & field logistics
Represent the NGO professionally in the community & meetings
