The Field Supervisor – Safety & Health will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, monitoring workforce performance, and implementing health and safety protocols at project locations in Tarali, Bavali, and Bhivpuri. This role ensures smooth site execution while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Supervise on-site construction/operation activities as per project plan.
Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and site workers to ensure timely task completion.
Monitor resource allocation—manpower, machinery, materials—and report deficiencies.
Ensure work is done per technical standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.
Report daily progress, challenges, and resource needs to the Project Manager.
Enforce all safety protocols, PPE compliance, and site entry rules.
Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and induction training for new workers.
Identify unsafe practices, potential hazards, and rectify them immediately.
Ensure compliance with Maharashtra Factories Act, BIS safety standards, and company HSE policies.
Maintain safety documentation — incident reports, risk assessments, checklists, JSA, PTW, etc.
Carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure a safe working environment.
Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
Liaise with local authorities, vendors, and contractors as needed.
Coordinate emergency preparedness plans and conduct safety drills.
Communicate site requirements to management and facilitate problem resolution.
Diploma or Degree in Engineering / Industrial Safety / Occupational Health or equivalent.
Minimum 0–5 years of field supervision or safety management experience (preferably in construction, utility, renewable, or infrastructure projects).
Valid Safety Certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, First Aid, Fire Safety) preferred.
Knowledge of Permit-to-Work, risk assessment, and safety documentation practices.
Strong understanding of field operations and safety management.
Ability to lead teams and manage multi-location activities.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Proactive problem-solving and quick decision-making.
Strong understanding of local site conditions in Maharashtra (terrain, climate, regulatory).
Primarily site-based at Tarali, Bavali, and Bhivpuri project locations.
May require travel between multiple sites.
Must be available for emergency call-outs and extended hours during critical operations.
