Job Responsibility:

· Lead generation and new market development through distributor visits, retailer networking, market activation and on-ground business development.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers and channel partners.

· Increase order value and repeat business from existing clients.

· Identify opportunities for new customer acquisition and territory expansion.

· Drive product expansion by cross-selling products and increasing SKU presence across assigned territories.

· Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, product movements and changing market demand.

· Conduct regular market visits and gather market intelligence.

· Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.

· Maintain structured sales reports, territory updates and regular performance tracking.

· Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and customer requirements.

Key Skills:

· Graduate in any discipline required.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in General Trade / Field Sales.

· Proven experience in Business Development and new market development.

· Strong understanding of distributor networks and retailer relationships.

· Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and extensively in the field.

· Strong understanding of General Trade sales and territory management.

Preferred Industry Background:

· Experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:

· Cosmetics, Food, Confectionery, Household Products, Imitation Jewelry, Baby Care, Stationery

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹ 35000 - ₹ 45000 CTC per month

Location:

· Chennai

· Candidates must be based in Chennai and should be comfortable with extensive field travel within the assigned territory.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of work experience in General Trade / Field Sales / Business Development, preferably with experience in distributor management, retailer networking and territory expansion.

• It is a Full Time Field Sales job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
