Job Description

Sales Officer – Merchant Acquisition (IndusInd Bank)

Location: Kolkata, Howrah and Hooghly

Role:

Acquire new Current Account (CA) customers in assigned territory

Identify and onboard merchants for POS machines & Soundbox solutions

Generate leads through field visits, market mapping, and references

Drive cross-selling of loan products (BL, PL, LAP, etc.)

Maintain daily activity tracking: visits, logins, conversions

Build strong merchant relationships for repeat business and referrals

Ensure proper KYC, documentation, and onboarding compliance

Achieve monthly targets for acquisition, POS activation, and revenue

Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and issue resolution

Monitor competitor offerings and pitch effectively to win deals

Eligibility:

Graduate (any discipline)

CIBIL score 700+

Experience in banking, insurance, or loan sales preferred
