Field Sales Officer

A Sales Officer is responsible for generating sales, building strong customer relationships, and meeting assigned targets within a designated territory or product category. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, improving brand visibility, and ensuring smooth sales operations to support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and approach potential customers to generate new leads and business opportunities.

• Visit retailers, distributors, or clients regularly to promote products and ensure availability.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the management.

• Maintain healthy relationships with existing customers by providing assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.

• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences.

• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and promotional activities.

• Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports to the Sales Manager or Supervisor.

• Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain proper documentation.

• Coordinate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and accounts to ensure smooth order processing and service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in business, marketing, or related fields.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet targets under pressure.

• Good knowledge of the local market and customer behavior.

• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

• Previous experience in sales or field marketing is an added advantage.
