Job Purpose
The Field Sales Officer will be responsible for expanding the market presence of our cosmetics brand (skincare, makeup, haircare) across assigned retail markets. The role involves driving secondary sales, onboarding new beauty counters, multi-brand outlets (MBOs), and salons, and ensuring high visibility of products on the shelves.
Key Responsibilities
B2B Client Acquisition: Visit cosmetic retail stores, wholesale markets, multi-brand beauty outlets, and salons daily to pitch products and secure bulk orders.
Achieve Sales Targets: Drive monthly and quarterly primary and secondary sales volumes within the assigned territory.
Merchandising & Shelf Visibility: Ensure optimal product placement on retail shelves. Negotiate for prominent "eye-level" display space and ensure marketing collateral (testers, posters, standees) is properly utilized.
Distributor Management: Coordinate closely with local distributors to ensure timely delivery of stock, resolve supply chain gaps, and manage collections/outstanding payments.
Product Demonstrations: Educate retailers and beauty advisors about product USPs, ingredients, shade ranges, and upcoming product launches.
Market Intelligence: Keep track of competitor pricing, schemes, new launches, and consumer trends to provide actionable feedback to the management team.
