Role: Officer Sales – Liability Sales

About the Department – Liability Sales The Liability Sales department is responsible for driving the bank’s liability acquisition, asset products, and retail forex business across branches in India. The team focuses on sourcing retail and corporate deposits, salary and non-salary accounts, trust accounts, and forex products, with the objective of strengthening and growing the bank’s retail portfolio.

About the Role
Officer Sales is a front-line, field-based sales role responsible for acquiring new customers and expanding the bank’s business opportunities. The role involves selling banking and investment products tailored to customer needs, handling customer queries, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a pure sales role requiring daily customer interactions and extensive field travel.

Key Responsibilities • Identify and acquire new customers for the bank and third-party financial products. • Build and develop strong relationships with new and existing customers. • Deepen existing customer relationships to enhance product penetration. • Achieve monthly sales targets as per the assigned Grade Matrix (BDE / Officer / AM Sales). • Record, track, and manage all customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system. • Ensure strict adherence to KYC, SEBI, and regulatory guidelines of the financial services industry.

Qualifications & Experience • Officer Sales – I: Graduate with less than 1 year of sales or relevant experience. • Fresh graduates with strong sales orientation are encouraged to apply.

Role Proficiencies & Skills • Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English and the local language. • Strong lead generation and conversion abilities. • High sales orientation with the ability to consistently meet targets. • Ability to handle pressure and work in a target-driven environment. • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Mandatory Technical Requirement • Candidate must possess a recommended Android smartphone. • Approved Models: OPPO, VIVO, MI, OnePlus, Samsung, Realme • Android Version: 10 / 11 / 12 / 13
