Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and reach out to potential industrial and commercial (I&C) clients.
Technical Sales Consulting: Conduct initial site assessments and explain the ROI, payback periods, and tax benefits (such as accelerated depreciation) to business owners.
Proposal Management: Work with the engineering team to create customized solar proposals. You must be able to explain kWh savings and performance ratios to non-technical clients.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with industrial associations and consultants to generate a steady stream of referrals.
CRM Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of the sales pipeline, from "lead" to "commissioned," using CRM tools.
Requirements:
Any Graduate / MBA preferred
2+ years in B2B sales (Solar industry experience)
Basic knowledge of rooftop solar & net-metering
Proficiency in Telegu / Kannada is essential for local site visits (Bangalore / Hyderabad)
