Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Lead Generation: Source new customers, network with real estate agents/builders, and meet sales goals.
Client Consultation: Assess client financial needs, explain loan options, features, and eligibility criteria.
Application Management: Guide clients in completing forms, collect and verify documents, and ensure timely submission.
Processing & Coordination: Work with underwriting/credit teams for smooth processing, verify applicant history, and coordinate loan disbursement.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulations, maintain updated client records, and report sales activities.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Previous sales/home loan experience often required.
Education: Often a degree in finance/business, but experience can substitute.
Licensing: A Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license is typically mandatory.
Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge: Understanding of the home loan market, lending regulations, and loan origination software.
