The Area Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing sales operations within a specific geographic area. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and driving business growth. The ASM leads a team of sales representatives, ensures proper market coverage, and implements strategic plans to increase revenue and market presence.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
Identify new business opportunities and potential markets within the assigned area.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and key customers.
Ensure proper product availability and visibility across the market.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to improve sales performance.
Conduct regular market visits to supervise sales activities and resolve issues.
Provide sales reports, forecasts, and updates to senior management.
Organize training sessions for the sales team to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing strategies, and promotional guidelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
2–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, retail, or related industries.

Ability to analyze sales data and create actionable strategies.
