We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Area Sales Manager to lead and grow sales operations within an assigned territory. The role involves managing a sales team, driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and distributors. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, market insight, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional targets
Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Officers/Executives
Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and training
Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to optimize performance
Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies
Plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns in the assigned area
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
5–8 years of experience in sales, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills
